Sound basics 101

For this course, it is recommended you use headphones or a balanced set of ‘flat response’ speakers that aren’t too biased to be either too ‘bassy’ or too treble-heavy.
Overhead closed back headphones are recommended, I personally recommend the Sennheiser HD25 headphones as they have a ‘flat response’ which do not excite the sound in any way to make it ‘punchier’ or ‘heavier’.
In any case, use the best, clearest listening device you have to hand. Test the same audio using different listening devices to find the best one.
