Lady Leshurr...

...is a breathe taking, awe inspiring MC/ Rapper/ Dancer all sorts extraordinaire... I dont even know what else to call her, lets just say she took my breathe away... AND with an old mixtape!

I stumbled upon her (not literally as she is only 4ft something- its not a short joke) on twitter while I was in the mood to tell someone to quit music and apply for McDonald's for a more suitable career and was smacked in the face by incredible flows and intelligent lyric from a very heart felt and passionate musician.

I am notoriously hard to please and was absolute in my stance that 99% of girl MC's are PANTS! The 4ft something Birmingham resident, certified 'Brummy' called Lady Leshurr has officially made me rethink that statement with her untouchable edge with words,

check out her mixtape yourself, you won't believe that she actually recorded and mixed the tracks herself and as if Christmas wasn't over already, I caught wind through her twitter - twitter.com/ladyleshurr - that she's got another one dropping any second now (of course I responded vigorously exclaiming that I should have the first copy (...not sure how well that went down...lol)

Lady Leshurr was part of the select few that excelled to the finals and went on to win Dubplate Drama's competition 'Spit It Out' in association with Childline. (see video).
